Jan. 18: Navigating Life’s Transitions with Jann Freed

Since life is a series of transitions, it becomes important to learn how to navigate through uncharted territory—particularly the phase starting 50+.  Jann Freed will speak on  integrating life and work so that life is full of meaning because we have discovered our purpose.

Jann Freed

Jann is the CEO of Jann E. Freed, LLC, a leadership and personal development firm in Des Moines, Iowa.  Her emphasis is on life renewal and transitions–shifting the paradigm from aging to sage-ing or growing in wisdom.  Jann’s purpose is to help people have a quality life for the rest of their best life by creating their own destinies both within workplaces and outside of work.

Jann is a former professor of business management and the Mark and Kay De Cook Endowed Chair in Leadership and Character Development at Central College in Pella, Iowa where she joined the faculty in 1981 and “retired” in 2011 after 30 years of service.
