Within the last few years, nearly every company has launched a Facebook Page, Twitter profile and/or YouTube Channel. What’s next in digital media? Hillary will discuss the importance of having a plan – not just a presence, and explore case studies of how brands have responded to the ever-changing digital landscape, take a look at some new platforms on the rise (Google+ and Pinterest) and travel to the future to see what’s around the bend in digital media.
Hillary joined Lava Row in July 2008. She has extensive experience with online community management and has helped develop digital strategy for a variety of entertainment, lifestyle and health care clients. Key clients have included Apple, Nike, Nestle, ABC, DreamWorks, X-Games, Activision, Templeton Rye, Knoxville Raceway, Civic Center of Greater Des Moines, Metro Waste Authority and Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. She is a professional speaker and has recently presented at South by Southwest, DMMC Music University and Iowa State University. In addition to her role at Lava Row, Hillary volunteers for the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition on the PR and marketing committee. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2001 with a B.A. in Mass Communications.
