Mohair Elephants in Felted Wool Jackets
Many of us have small businesses or hobbies on the side and mine is soft sculpture – original design handmade mohair teddy bears and other animals and needlefelted Santas for the adult collector market under the business name The Pleasant Ridge Collection.
I’ll be exhibiting at the Kansas City Teddy Bear Jubilee on Saturday, September 24 and giving a presentation about decorating with antiques, quilts and teddy bears for collectors attending the convention on Friday, September 23. This convention is a fund-raiser for Good Bears of the World, an international charitable organization that provides teddy bears to children of all ages, where love, solace, and comfort can make a difference.
